Founder's Story
SecondAct wasn’t born from an idea. It was born from a moment.
A moment when the life I had carefully built no longer felt like it fully fit. For nearly three decades, I lived a life many people aspire to.
I spent 28 years in leadership roles across global organizations like Hyatt Hotels and Lufthansa German Airlines. I built teams, led businesses, traveled the world, and built a life that looked successful and did well.
From the outside, it looked like I had it all. But inside, something was misaligned. And so, I stepped back. I questioned everything. I sat with "what's wrong" for six months.
That’s when my life changed.
I chose to slow down. To rebuild on my own terms. I earned my coaching certification. I studied human design. I immersed myself in women's leadership, identity, and reinvention. Most importantly, I listened to women. I realized that while every story is different, the pivot is never easy but it is possible.
That choice led me to build
Over the years, through my work with women leaders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers, as CEO of INK Women, through the Discover Your SecondAct podcast, and through social impact initiatives, I kept encountering the same moment in different forms.
Capable women standing at the threshold between who they’ve been and who they’re ready to become.
SecondAct exists for that threshold. It exists for women standing at the threshold between the life they’ve lived and the life they’re ready to choose. For those who don’t want to burn everything down, but do want to move forward with clarity, courage, and intention.
And now, we are taking our purpose many steps ahead with SecondAct Retreats.
Because I know it isn’t about starting over.
It’s about coming home to yourself and choosing forward from there.
